Rolling out the sleeping bag

While working in an Aboriginal Community in Central Australia I was present when they were translating the Bible into their Arrernte language. I remember a special moment when they translated ‘The Word was made flesh, he lived among us’.... It was translated: He ‘rolled out his swag among us.’ Here is the image of Christmas closeness of God. He comes down and sleeps among us - pitching his tent, rolling out his sleeping bag. How does this image make you feel about Christmas?
