Leaping for Joy

Little unborn John leaping for joy is mentioned twice as a way of sharing this excitement and happiness welcoming Jesus. Close to Christmas, we may be tired and have so many plans and things to be done. Perhaps we can feel the invitation to slow down, find a church, a quiet place, and enter the joy of John the Baptist … Dancing before Mary the ark of the covenant… before the tabernacle in church… God is truly with us!
