Helping our friends

The courage and perseverance of the men carrying their paralysed friend to Jesus is striking. Facing the large crowd they could have given up and said, “Oh well, we tried”. Instead they persevered and took off roof tiles! Imagine the scene. Jesus, on “seeing their faith” responds to their love, prayer and effort. Let’s be like them in seeking healing for our friends. Let’s be encouraged to go the extra mile of perseverance and even disruption of the status quo to get the help required for those in great need.
