Never lose heart

The widow in the parable is persistent and in the end receives justice. I am not sure the judge was interested in justice for her, so much as wanting her to stop pestering. We see a great deal of injustice in our world – greed of nations, desire for revenge, unwillingness to listen to another where the truth may be revealed. How often are we quick to judge what we hear in the media! Jesus urges us to pray and not give up in the search for justice which will bring peace. God promises justice will prevail, even in eternity.
