Lampstand

When the main form of illumination was an oil lamp or a candle, a stand enabled the radiance by being raised up, to illuminate a large space. May the light of Christ in our lives shine out to other people, other places. A simple lamp is not ‘showy’ but simply does its job

Dwight Moody wrote: “Lighthouses make no noise, they simply shine.”
