The Law and the Prophets

The law and the prophets – essentially what we call the Old Testament – had taught the chosen people about God. They had served Israel well. And Jesus was not about to throw them away. All he asked was that they be followed in a new way, his way. Looked at differently they could refresh, renew, bring life. Perhaps there are some old rules and practices we were taught at home or in religion classes at school that could be looked at again but in a different way? Could they refresh our faith life?
