Alone together

When we feel lonely or alone we can find peace of mind and heart in the personhood of Jesus Christ. He has redeemed loneliness. He is only a Bible away. He is very much with me as I struggle with the lonely feelings that being a disciple sometimes brings. With Jesus Christ, I can work through my loneliness of spirit. Together we can use it in a way that brings his peace to others. Prayer, especially reflection on the Word, is a great way to use well the feeling of being alone.
