Lively faith

It is possible to have faith, to believe all the right things, yet lead a Catholic life which learns nothing from what Jesus Christ is saying in this text. Coming to a personal realisation of complete truth in my life makes my faith strong in a very lively, glorious sort of way. This happens when I realise that the Word is not just a generalised message about being Christian but is a person who is life to me. He is a person with whom I socialise in prayer because everything about his life speaks to my heart about God’s life and the life of the Holy Spirit.
