Feeling alone

Sometimes in our lives of discipleship Jesus withdraws himself from the habitual ways we sense his presence. We feel this as an absence, perhaps as a personal sadness. Our faith tells us he is still with us. Such is the journey in holiness and mission that we are called to. Personal sin and forgiveness has a place in a holy discipleship. The Holy Spirit comes to us in our sadness bringing God’s grace thereby helping us to have the right attitude towards our sinfulness. Help me with this, Lord.
