Hard choices

Jesus is the most important person in my faith life. He is the gate through which I must go if I want to be holy. Sometimes I do not want the confines of a gate narrowing down my way of ‘being me’ in my family or parish. But a true quest for holiness brings a willingness to go through gospel openings which seem confining but which bring new life and deeper love to what has become stale. Do I want this sort of love in my life?
