Acts 8:1-8; Psalm 66; John 6:35-40

Give us this day

Knowing God’s will for me, loving God for giving it to me and living it out in hope is what Christian life is about. God’s will for me is difficult to live in adverse situations which bring pain and suffering. Jesus Christ did it. He was obedient to God’s will throughout his suffering and death and Resurrection. He did not lose a scrap of God’s love. Discerning and accepting God’s will for me is very much like eating our daily bread.
