EASTER SUNDAY

Acts 10:34, 37-43, Psalm 118, Colossians 3:1-4; John 20:1-9

He is Risen!

It is Mary of Magdala who is first to the tomb on the Sunday morning – and finds it empty. She is worried about the body of Jesus and goes to get Peter and John, who come running. Peter enters. Then John sees a neatly folded cloth.

“That’s how Jesus used to fold his cloth,” recognised John. He believed – “Jesus IS RISEN from the Dead.” Yes, Jesus, I believe that you rose from the dead. You are ALIVE!
