Walk humbly with God

God has two reactions to the people in Isaiah. The first is, “Take your wrong doing out of my sight.” In the next breath, God is reconciliatory, “Come, let us talk this over.” In Matthew, the Pharisees like being the ones in authority. They place themselves above the law while putting the burden of the law on others for their benefit. Today we talk about those who take advantage of the system. Jesus says be humble, be brothers and sisters to each other and don’t go ripping each other off.
