Taking the tough with the easy

As Christ has suffered for us, we too, as Christians, have our crosses to bear for Christ. We carry our human tendency to sin and the struggle of turning away from sin. We are called to care for the poor, to love our enemies, to lose ourselves in Christ, and to be prepared to claim Christ as our saviour. Sometimes it takes courage, even to the point of death, to follow Christ. Help us Jesus to follow you; help us with our crosses, especially when they feel hard.
