God in charge

There are two useful lessons given to us today in the readings. St James tells us not to overplan our future but place it in the hands of God. We can often think of things to come and be full of apprehension, but with the Lord leading and guiding us, all will ultimately be well. Jesus says in the Gospel of Mark that we should not think God limits himself to those whom we think are worthy. He is everywhere and working in ways we don’t know.
