All are welcome

St James reminds us today that we should not make distinctions between people. All people are equal before God and deserve to be given the same dignity and respect. By teaching this Jesus wished to bring all people to himself and to the Father. It was this teaching that led Jesus to be arrested, tortured and killed. He wished to break down the old law, which made distinctions between people, and make everyone welcome in the Kingdom of God.
