The Presentation of the Lord (F)

Today, in the feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple, we celebrate the Mass of the coming of the light into the world, Candlemas day. Mary and Joseph bring the new-born Jesus to the temple so that an offering could be made for him as a first-born son. When Simeon sees him he exclaims that Jesus is “a light to enlighten the pagans.” What light does Jesus bring to our lives? How can we bring the light of Christ to those around us?
