Restored to Community

Few afflictions were more terrifying and hideous than leprosy, which referred to various severe skin conditions. While physically these incurable diseases were painful, sufferers were ostracised from human society. In a bold move, one so afflicted approaches Jesus who, on seeing him, experiences strong emotions. Jesus restores him to his community and changes him from being alone and alienated to one who joyfully spread the Good News. Do I allow myself to be moved by a person who is alone and alienated? What steps can I take to restore that person to the community?
