This is our story

Those with leprosy are on the margins. Luke highlights the gravity of this one’s condition. He is “covered with leprosy.” His restoration to human well-being is not simply a story back then. It is our story. We are invited to enter into the narrative, identify with this character and let the transforming power of the Risen Jesus work in our whole being, in our wounded and ‘leprous’ parts. We are invited to see his transforming power at work in our wounded and ‘leprous’ Earth.
