Hear Jesus speak

This is a scary story. Concerning the disciples, Mark states: “their hearts were hardened.” A description applied to the Pharisees and in the OT to those resisting God. This story brims with biblical images recalling God’s power over mighty waters, passing by and people being terrified. These signify the divinity of Jesus who assures: “Take heart, I am, do not be afraid.” He gets into the boat. The wind ceased. Imagine this scene, hear Jesus speak. When has Jesus come into your boat and the wind ceases?
