Women of influence

Anna was holy. Because she was holy she exercised a spiritual authority. People listened to her. She belonged to a long line of prophetesses, among them were Miriam, Deborah and Huldah. There are genuine prophetesses today. Some live in the spirit of Anna. They are elderly and spend hours in church and at home worshipping and interceding. Others are mothers of families, teachers, catechists, theologians, lectors, sacramental ministers, social workers, members of religious orders and congregations. Let’s honour these women of God and pray for them..
