Fence sitters

Jesus admonishes those who won’t take a stand in regard to living for God. They don’t ally themselves with John and the way of penance. Nor do they side with the Lord and his more gentle and joyous approach. They refuse to commit themselves. They sit on the fence. Jesus’ response is to say that wisdom is justified by its deeds. He may well be saying that not to decide is to decide. Where do I stand on the great moral issues of our times?
