About a quarter of the verses in the four Gospels are devoted to the Lord’s healing ministry. And Jesus still heals today. He heals us through the Sacraments, through Sacred Scripture, and in many other ways. Crowds followed Jesus in the days of his public ministry, expecting to be healed. Do I pray to him for healing for myself and for others? Do I follow him in hope of that ultimate healing ... a holy and a happy death?
