Nothing of God’s will pass away

The creatures in Daniel’s dream die or are destroyed, compared to God’s eternal greatness, that can never be overcome. An analogy closer to home for us is that of the fig tree showing signs of life as summer approaches. Even though all earthly matter will disappear, God’s kingdom is near and will last for ever. Do you think of this parable when you marvel at the beauty of the cycle of nature, bringing new life?
