Wisdom 6:1-11; Psalm 82; Luke 17:11-19

Learn wisdom

Whatever power we have comes with the responsibility to act justly. We see so many abuses of power in the world, leading to terrible suffering. We, too, in our everyday lives, must be mindful of any power we may wield, that we do so gently. We may fool ourselves that we are justified in certain actions, but God will see through it all. He reminds us that he himself was made small – not proud and overbearing. We must learn wisdom from him.
