You are God’s temple

Paul tells us that we are God’s temple. We are sacred – our lives are founded on Jesus Christ and built up in the Spirit of God. So, we must remember this when we read of Jesus’ anger at the desecration of the temple in Jerusalem by the money changers. There is a further connection between the two readings in that Jesus is referring to his own body when he talks of rebuilding the temple in three days. Do we remember that we are made in the image of God, and we are each a sacred temple of God?
