Apocalypse 7:2-4, 9-14; Psalm 24; 1 John 3:1-3; Matthew 5:1-12.

Children of God

John, in his letter, encourages the readers to live in fellowship with God. He reminds us of how generous God is in his love for us – to be called God’s children. However, John goes on to say that it is not clear how things will turn out for us. In response to the gift of God’s love, we have the responsibility to try to be as pure as Christ; for all of us to strive to be saints. Do you always remember God’s love for you?
