Slaves of God

Jesus gives notice that following him may well have unwelcome consequences. Not everyone will agree with your choice. Your own family may challenge your loyalty – or even your sanity. The first Jewish Christians had to break with their culture, their understanding of faith. There was huge personal cost. To become a slave of God they had to free themselves of the yoke of the Mosaic law, their ancestral traditions. What has your choice for Jesus cost you?
