Worry and fret

It’s in our DNA to worry, to have concerns, to be unsure. Jonah was able to overcome his anxiety and reluctance to serve; Martha is so occupied that she misses an insightful moment. What concerns me so much that I could be distracted from seeing or doing good? O Lord, save me from myself; free me to ease the concerns of others. Help me shift the spotlight away from me.
