Childlike trust

Jesus doesn’t want us to remain children but to be like them. Little ones have an enormous sense of trust and are very loving. They are angels in our midst. Lived experience in adult life can replace trust with cynicism and a reluctance to accept the word of others. Yet trust is the key to healthy community and social life. Learn from children; see them as guardians of what is most precious: trust.
