Resolutely take your road

Jesus knows where he is going, what is coming and faces it. Poverty, despair and physical and sexual abuse are pervasive in our world. Those in our ‘field hospitals’ support the victims of neglect, abuse or indifference. Jesus gives us a blueprint on how to change our world and shows us the cost of doing so. Spirit, fill us with grace so we resolutely face the truth and pain. May we do whatever is necessary to heal and love those who suffer. Spirit, give us the wisdom and courage to change the structures that harm others.
