Shine your light

St Andrew Kim Taegon was martyred because of his total commitment to his faith. He said “We have received baptism, entrance into the Church, and the honour of being called Christians. Yet what good will this do us if we are Christians in name only and not in fact?” The fact is that at Baptism we are given a candle/lamp and commissioned to be servant priests, prophets proclaiming radical love and leaders bringing about the reign of God. Light a candle today and pray that your Christian life becomes a beacon that draws others to Christ’s love and changes the world
