Woodwork lesson

Jesus was a carpenter’s son with a great sense of humour. He knew a lot about logs and splinters. Maybe Joseph and he argued at times. Those we work and live with can really annoy us. Often what irritates us about others can also tell us something about ourselves. Let’s look in the mirror and ask ourselves who really annoys us? Who gets under our skin and why? Reflect on what that uncomfortable relationship might be saying to us about our log rather than their splinter. And if the log gets jammed, ask a trusted friend to give perspective.
