Love the people who you don’t want to

“Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you” – what a hard gospel message. Jesus turns life upside down. Who do you sound off about? A political party? The brother-in-law who left your sister? Criminals, racists, poor tradespeople? Jesus challenges us to build loving, restorative relationships and not to be judgmental or retributive. Think about who you find most difficult to be with or forgive. Can I let go of my hate or apathy and love and bless them? Pray today ,“Jesus please give me the grace to love the people I can’t stand”.
