What good deed must I do?

An awareness of God being with us can be so easily sucked out of our lives, there is so much happening and even some commercial suggestions that subtly convey we can be as gods. These energies are seldom explicit and they can wear our life of faith down. Having a loving friendship with God, daily having time together, helps to unmask illusions. Talking openly about God, apart from being in Church, can be frowned upon. Yes, there is much good around us, but the good deed is to have God at the centre of our lives.
