The living bread
I am sure that some of us have developed the art of bread-making. I enjoy the aroma and the eating of bread. I wonder if Jesus enjoyed the aroma and then the eating of homemade bread? He makes use of the experience of nourishment to offer us further insight into himself and always in relation to our hearts. When we are hungry, what do we seek for nourishment? Has our friendship deepened to such an extent that Jesus is our most real sustenance? In other words, are we drawing life from him as the Living Bread?
