Listen to him

There are some loving moments in our lives that we do well to cherish. Sensing love in our hearts is a priceless gift. During difficult times, it is good to recall such moments and so to clarify again what our life is truly about. What the disciples saw, they cherished in silence. Maybe in those days after seeing him suffering or feeling in themselves that he had died, they silently could recall that mountain and cherish again that experience. The invitation they heard from God then, was simply “listen to him.” Today, we live our lives as people who are committed to listening to Jesus, and we love as he loves and, in difficult times, remember personal memories of his love.
