Give them something to eat

Our faith lives in actions rather than in ideas. We are called to trust that, even though we might consider our resources limited, God will bring about good from our efforts. We are to trust God who lives among us. When Dorothy Day began helping people who were poor and often homeless in the 1930s, she had no idea that this small beginning would result in the international movement of social justice it is today. The miracle of the loaves reminds us that God is the one in charge and makes good on all of our efforts.
