God of surprises

Moses lived as a prince until he murdered an Egyptian and fled. Now he shepherds in the wilderness. God was preparing Moses to lead his people. But Moses did not know. When he saw a bush burning, he investigated and was shocked to hear God calling him to something beyond his imagination. God often uses the unexpected to call us, but will we investigate? Someone once said, “pay attention to what you pay attention to.” God may call us to things we imagine beyond us, but God will provide all we need.
