Compassion awakens dignity

“Talitha kum" is a term of endearment -- "dear little lamb." That is why the International Union of Superiors General named their network to campaign against human trafficking Talitha Kum. The expression has "the transformative power of compassion and mercy, which awakens the deep desire for dignity and life which may be asleep and injured by the many forms of exploitation." There have already been instances of people exploitation in Aotearoa. How do you react when trafficked people are discovered in our country? Gentleness and compassion?
