With enthusiasm

Apollos was an enthusiastic preacher of the Good News of Jesus Christ and a passionate teacher of the Way. The energetic manner with which he engaged in debate attracted those who listened to him. However, Apollos was not on his own in this work. “By God’s grace” he was able to encourage and help those who listened to him to grow in their faith. Reflect on the meaning of being enthusiastic. The word comes from a Greek word meaning ‘filled with God.’ Where, in my life, do I show enthusiasm?
