A place to call home

For many of us ,‘home’ means a familiar and safe place to where we retreat after a day’s work; where we live with people we know and love. However, increasing numbers of people in our world have no place to call home. They have been cast out of their home by war or poverty. In our own country, we have a crisis because of over-inflated house prices and a scarcity of available houses that shut people out of a place to call home. If I am one of the fortunate people who has a home, what can I do in my own way to advocate for affordable and suitable houses for people who have no home?
