Peace. God’s gift to our world

Peace is a pearl of great price. Throughout history, people have longed for peace while enduring conflict and unrest. War and division, born of fear and hurt, permeate today’s world. Many of us are anxious and worried about many things. Jesus offers us a way to peaceful living when he tells us, “My own peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.” Where in my life am I anxious and afraid? Am I willing to trust Jesus and to receive God’s gift of peace?
