Touch me

Resurrection from the dead challenges everything of our human experience and defies all of our human understanding. But God’s ways are not our ways and faith takes us beyond the limitations of our humanity. It enables us to embrace mystery. So the risen Jesus was at pains to demonstrate to his disciples the true nature of his bodily resurrection. “Peace be with you. Touch me,” he said to them. May we have the faith to believe what we have never touched and never seen.
