Finger pointing

I committed my cause to God. Yet they watch for my downfall, disappointed when their expectations are unfulfilled. I’ve been betrayed by those I thought were my friends. Why stone me? As followers of Christ we, too, will experience rejection. In 2021, condemnation may not take the form of throwing stones, as words are mightier than stones. Social media proves that. I can build and destroy. Have I unjustly pointed the finger?
