Do’s and don’ts

How often at home does the same message get repeated? “Do this; don’t do that.” During Lent, too, God constantly reminds us of his law. Today we hear the 10 commandments. We also see Jesus driving the merchants out of the sacred area of the Temple, a place for prayer, not for business. Covid 19 gave us time to reflect, face ourselves, and value our own inner resources. Hopefully the experience made us more real, driving out the busy-ness from our hearts. Have I let busyness and business move into my inner sanctuary where God dwells?
