Signs of God

This segment of Lukan narrative continues to describe Jesus’ frustration. He named the generation an evil one. Wanting more signs. The crowd did not see that Jesus himself was the ‘Sign’. So Jesus remarks: “The queen of the South and the Ninevites will rise up on Judgement day and condemn this stubborn generation. I was sent by God. A sign greater than Solomon and Jonah”. This text invites us to look at the signs of God’s goodness present in our world in the beauty of creation and the kindness of so many people.
