A hidden God

Mary and Joseph, though chosen to care for Jesus, the incarnate God, humbly obeyed the law and claimed no privileges. We can only imagine their life together in Nazareth watching their little boy grow in wisdom, knowing that he was special but keeping that knowledge in their hearts. In our own lives are we able to perceive God’s presence in the small hidden events and relationships of everyday life and in the marvels of his creation which we may not even notice? God’s love may be visible in the smile of a loved one!
