“And the Word became flesh and lived amongst us.” Christmas means that God is forever one of us, born as a human being who reveals to us the nature of God. What is God like? Jesus is the answer. How and where do we find God? Through Jesus his Son, his true image. What does God want of us? Jesus shows us the way. Today let us savour in our hearts the true meaning of Christmas and in the words of Isaiah, “Break forth into singing, for the Lord has comforted his people”.
