God’s lavish love

The lavishness of the banquet described by Isaiah and the multiplication of the loaves and fishes so that there were twelve basketfuls left over, teach us that God’s love for us, his desire to feed us and fill us, physically and spiritually, is so much more generous than we could ever imagine. How can we give food to the hungry this Advent?
